- Drawing upon case studies which consider the challenges, risks and benefits of implementing a cross-security domain solution for multi-agency information sharing, both the cyber-security as well as 'need to know' vs 'need to share' issues come to the fore. As the Australian Government progresses towards a Whole of Government and Public Information Portal architectures across domains including Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Air Traffic Management (ATM), the availability and reliability of information being made available both across agencies and to the public introduces new risks to producers, analysts and end-users.
