Newcastle Creative Art Precinct

Newcastle is centred around Civic Park and the City Hall and includes the Regional Art Gallery, Music Conservatorium, University and Northumberland House, TPI House, Council’s Central Administration Building, Cultural Centre Library, Wheeler Place and the Honeysuckle Railway Workshops and Maritime Museum.

There are at least three distinctive locations that encapsulate Newcastle’s cultural, performing arts, new media and IT precincts. This is in addition to established precincts such as Newcastle East, The Junction and Cooks Hill - Darby Street that include private art galleries, design studios and other creative venues.
